Research-Informed, Evidence-Humble
iOSE is informed by attention science, positive psychology, meaning research, and human-centered AI. It is built with evidence humility, not inflated certainty.
The PERMA-V Framework
PERMA-V describes wellbeing as a living system — not a single score, but an interplay of dimensions that shape how life feels and functions over time.
Developed by Dr. Martin Seligman and expanded by researchers in positive psychology, this framework identifies six core dimensions of human flourishing:
Positive Emotion
Experiencing joy, gratitude, serenity, hope, inspiration, awe, and love in daily life
Engagement
Being absorbed in activities that meet your attention and invite flow
Relationships
Building authentic connections, experiencing love and belonging, and contributing to others
Meaning
Connecting to something larger than yourself, finding purpose, and living in alignment with your values
Accomplishment
Pursuing meaningful directions, developing skills, and experiencing agency and competence
Vitality
Maintaining physical health, energy, and embodied wellbeing as the foundation for flourishing
Together, these dimensions offer one useful lens for supporting attention, meaning, and humane action.
Beyond Symptom Language
Clinical care has its own important role. iOSE is not a therapy product, a diagnostic tool, or a replacement for professional support.
Its public research stance is different: support attention, self-understanding, meaning, and gentle agency in ordinary life.
Positive psychology asks useful questions about what helps people live with meaning, relationship, vitality, and coherence.
iOSE translates that research carefully: as reflective support, not as proof that an app can define wellbeing for you.
Research-Informed Instruments
These instruments are used to support insight and reflection — not to diagnose, label, or judge.
iOSE may use established assessment tools as optional reflective inputs:
Any results should be interpreted over time and in context, supporting awareness rather than isolated numbers.
Designed for Real Life
iOSE favors brief, low-pressure reflection over exhaustive self-documentation.
The aim is to notice enough to return and orient, without making self-awareness another task to perform.
AI-supported reflections can help notice themes and connections gently, while leaving interpretation and judgment with you.
For Researchers, Clinicians & Educators
We believe the future of wellbeing technology should be developed in dialogue with research, education, and clinical practice.
If you are interested in collaborating or exploring iOSE in academic or clinical contexts, we welcome the conversation.
